Renault has recently launched their small crossover kwid in Indonesia. Carrying a unique name, Renault has a reason why they chose it.
According to Quincy Govin ASEAN Head of Product Strategy Renault, the name has no meaning.

"This car is for young people. The trendy. So we need a name that combines the attributes of young, trendy and fun. Do not have a real sense, but represents the above attributes. In addition it was easy to say and remember," said Govin.
In addition to the above reasons, Govin adding that the election kwid to complete the crossover lines that many use the prefix letter K, as Kadjar and Koleos.
